I wanted to be yours, but my emotions were getting the best of me

I realized everything I said was because I was emotionally attached to you

I wanted to be yours, but it can’t go back like it was before —  I can’t wait here forever expecting you to open your eyes and see what’s in front of you

I wanted to be yours, wear your last name — but the more I reached for it, the more it ran from me

I wanted to feel love, but falling in love turned into sadness and anger to the point where I can’t control my tears anymore

I wanted to be yours, but the more I look at you the farther you walk away from me

I wanna be yours everyday of my life, but then all of the sudden I woke up and then realized that I wanna be yours was a dream
